La reproduction est un grand myst\u00e8re. En tant que professionnels de la p\u00eache, nous avons compris que chaque rivi\u00e8re abrite un stock d\u00e9fini d\u2019anguilles adultes, et que les g\u00e9niteurs produisent chaque ann\u00e9e une quantit\u00e9 d\u2019alevins qui remontent les cours d\u2019eau proches de leur lieu de reproduction, pouss\u00e9s par les vents marins ou attir\u00e9s par l\u2019eau douce. Dans une rivi\u00e8re plus pollu\u00e9e, le nombre d\u2019anguilles adultes est plus faible, ce qui se traduit par une diminution des civelles. C\u2019est pourquoi notre analyse est justifi\u00e9e et peut \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par les autorit\u00e9s.<\/p>

L\u2019un des grands probl\u00e8mes observ\u00e9s en aquaculture est que les civelles ont une croissance tr\u00e8s faible en eau saum\u00e2tre. Il est donc imp\u00e9ratif de commencer l\u2019\u00e9levage en eau douce, avec une conductivit\u00e9 nulle. Or, bloqu\u00e9s par des barrages infranchissables, de nombreux alevins se retrouvent en milieu sal\u00e9, o\u00f9 leur croissance est m\u00e9diocre ; ils sont alors vou\u00e9s \u00e0 mourir ou \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9vor\u00e9s par des pr\u00e9dateurs.<\/p>

Notre principale observation est que, dans les rivi\u00e8res o\u00f9 la p\u00eache de l\u2019anguille adulte n\u2019est plus pratiqu\u00e9e, le nombre de montaisons de jeunes anguilles augmente chaque ann\u00e9e. Cela vient concr\u00e9tiser nos analyses ainsi que les affirmations des scientifiques, qui, \u00e0 ce jour, disposent de moins d\u2019observations que nous, professionnels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Le long de l\u2019oued Sebou, \u00e0 60 km de la ville de K\u00e9nitra, se trouve le barrage de Mograne. C\u2019est \u00e0 cet endroit que nous avons constat\u00e9 une importante concentration d\u2019anguilles tentant de remonter vers le barrage. Malheureusement, ces anguilles ne survivent pas au fort courant.<\/p>

Pour y rem\u00e9dier, Nounemaroc a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019installer une passe \u00e0 poissons qui fait office d\u2019ascenseur, afin de prot\u00e9ger cette esp\u00e8ce menac\u00e9e.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Les barrages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits pour constituer de grands r\u00e9servoirs d\u2019eau favorisant une agriculture qui, au d\u00e9part artisanale, est rapidement devenue industrielle gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019abondance d\u2019eau. Cela a malheureusement favoris\u00e9 la pollution due \u00e0 l\u2019agriculture industrielle en amont des barrages, entra\u00eenant une d\u00e9gradation de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau en aval. Cette pollution, souvent appel\u00e9e \u00ab bouchon vaseux \u00bb, remonte et descend avec les mar\u00e9es dans nos oueds.<\/p>

Ces retenues d\u2019eau ont un effet n\u00e9faste insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9 : les poissons migrateurs (alose, saumon, lamproie, truite de mer\u2026) de nos oueds ont disparu, incapables d\u2019atteindre les zones de fray\u00e8re bloqu\u00e9es au pied des obstacles. Seule l\u2019anguille a su s\u2019adapter en aval des oueds, car son lieu de reproduction se trouve dans les estuaires, \u00e0 l\u2019instar des poissons marins.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Le marquage des anguilles \u00e0 l\u2019aide de grappes avant leur remise en libert\u00e9 dans les barrages et les rivi\u00e8res de montagne nous permet de les revitaliser, ainsi que de suivre l\u2019\u00e9volution et le parcours de chaque anguille.<\/p>
